Electrical Auxiliary power supplies
Our core products are Electric Auxiliary Power Supplies (EAPS) for the rail industry. The individual components can be housed together in a single, compartmentalized enclosure which can be mounted on the roof or underslung. Or the components can be separated into a modular architecture to optimize placement within the train. We also offer the individual EAPS components, such as standalone battery chargers or inverters.
Customization Experts
At Advanced Rail Electronics, we specialize in customizing systems and products to meet your specific needs, whether for future fleet designs or refurbishments. We can even develop a new power system from the ground up for unique applications. Our expertise includes standard EAPS designs for EMUs and DMUs, and also extends to custom solutions. Our previous custom designs have included charging systems for monorails, large phase converters for rail-yard emergency supplies and battery-only locomotives.
