Our versatile and programmable 5-stage control algorithms optimize the charging profile according to battery manufacturers' recommendations, maximizing both battery runtime and lifetime. By measuring and controlling battery current separately from load current, we ensure an optimal charging process.

All Transport for New South Wales (TfNSW) trains must now adhere to the Electric Auxiliary Power Supply and Battery System for Passenger Rolling Stock standard TS03988:1.0. Advanced Rail Electronics has been addressing 'Power Supply' charging issues on rolling stock for many years. Our world-class designs have always met TS03988:1.0, even before the standard was established.
