Trainline Power Supply for Electronically Controlled Pneumatic Brakes

Advanced Rail Electronics designed and manufactured the trainline power supply for New York Air Brake’s EP60. They have since used it on 830 locomotives and 16,900 wagons worldwide. It has logged more than 900 million miles in revenue service. The rugged and reliable Trainline Power Supply (TPS) powers the EP-60 electronically controlled pneumatic brake system. This unit features automatic polarity detection and correction as well as load-sharing capability to ensure clean, reliable power to the train.
